Mareeruk Chiangrai Primary School

Mareeruk Chiangrai is a Private Catholic School. This school is under the Office of the Private Education Commission of the Chiangrai Educational Service Area Office 1. It was founded in 2004 and there are students from grade 1 to 6 here.

Objective

            The school supports students to have responsibilities and to study in a good environment. The teachers here are kind and able to assist students to develop their knowledge and learn how to live with others, regardless of background.

Curriculum

            We teach under the curriculum of the Ministry of Education. The school encourages students to think by themselves.  The students can improve their English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, because the school provides the Intelligent English Program for them. They not only study Mathematics, Social Studies and Science in Thai, but also in English. Japanese is the third language for students here.  There are also activities for students to select by themselves as follows:  Golf, Taekwondo or Music which allows students to improve their knowledge and physical skills.  When they grow up, they will have good IQ and EQ and be nice people in our society.

School Environment          

The school provides a beautiful yard for students. The good environment supports students for studying. The classrooms are designed in a Thai architecture form. Every classroom has air-conditioning and closed circuit television system. The parents can watch their children from school website.

There is standard play ground covered with rubber and color for safety. (Play ground area: 2 rai.)

            Mareeruk Chiang Rai School has a strong vision to develop in different ways under the school mission. The mission focuses on education development and encourages students to work together with hope and morality. We do this by taking good care of each and every student while paying them the attention they deserve.

Student’s application:

• For grade 1-6, boys or girls must be 6 years old up for day students.

• For the 1st grade, we will accept students who are 6 years old and finished Kindergarten 3 already. They have to pass the school test that we set the standard scores for each level already. 

If students from Mareeruk Chiang Rai Kindergarten need to continue to grade 1 here, they could register without taking the test.

- Kindergarten Grade report or Certificate for Kindergarten 3.

            4.   Application Period

                        Start from the beginning of January to February every year.

On Monday-Friday, parents need to take their child with them to apply too.

5. Test

            Mareeruk Chiang Rai School will set up  the test and let the parents know the results the day that they come to apply.

            The test will assess 4 major subjects. They are Thai, Math English and learning skills.

• Registration

After students pass the test, parents have to register students with student’s grade report ( Kindergarten 3 ) and 4 photos of 2”.

• For grade 2-6 classes application

In the case of our school having empty seats in each class, students needs to bring the document to prove that they finished the class before and other documents.

            8. The Students who have just registered in our school need to come for Summer Course for adaptation and preparation for regular class.

Time to pay school expense

• New students should pay on the registration day.

• Students grade 2-6 should pay before the 5th day of school.

• For the government officer’s child will get the fee back up to the rules of each government section.

Books, school uniform and P.E. clothes

            School will sell on the registration day.

            In one year, we separated into 2 semesters

1st semester  ( May- October)

2nd semester ( November-March)

            - School is open from 08.00 to 16.00 on Monday to Friday .

            - Closed on Saturday – Sunday

            - Special holidays, Religions holidays and National holidays.
